MIRMI Research Seed Funds

MIRMI's Seed-Funding supports exciting new ideas and research projects. It began in 2022 and invites proposals twice a year. MIRMI offers funding to start collaborative projects among MIRMI members. Each proposal should involve at least two MIRMI members, but working with other TUM Principal Investigators (i.e., TUM professors or TUM Junior fellows) and international partners is encouraged, especially if it aligns with MIRMI's strategic objectives (e.g., fostering fresh collaborations, adding new MIRMI Members, and so forth). External experts in robotics and machine intelligence from our Science Advisory Board review proposals to choose the winners. Sponsored projects are expected to lead to joint publications or external funding.
