Mechatronics III: Assembly, Integration, and Testing Lab
Mechatronics III: Assembly, Integration, and Testing Lab: the lab focuses on building and putting into operation Robotic-oriented mechatronic systems and platforms. The lab is divided into 3 main stages:
Assembly: The System components are brought, put together, and connected to build up the designed system.
Integration: The system is put to operation by allocating the required firmware and checking the correct response of the basic functionality (boot sequence, interface, power distribution, sensor and actuator response, etc.)
Testing: Analysis and evaluation of the overall system and its components to verify its performance based on the design criteria in a non-disturbed emulated environment
Among many other resources, the lab contains the following:
- Assembly Stations
- Mobile electronics stations
- Tool trolleys
- Assembly Tools
- Drilling, Cutting tools
- Bearing Bushing Assembly Sets
- Storage Cupboards for projects
- DAQ
- Sensors
- Test PCs
