Last week, 63 teams presented their projects to a jury at the Munich West regional competition of Youth Research. 11 projects impressed the jurors, including paper made from eggshells, highly intelligent drones, and bees trained to respond to eucalyptus scent. Under the motto "Get Your Head Around It," more than one hundred and fifty students will tinker at the Gymnasium Munich-North on March 6th and 7th, 2024, as part of the Regional Youth Research Competition for new solutions. The teams from the western part of Munich are participating in the "Schüler experimentieren" category, while the older students are participating in the "Jugend forscht" category in seven different disciplines, including the working world, biology, and mathematics/informatics.
