The world of robotics is at a turning point: humanoid robots are becoming a tangible reality. Next Level Robotics – Next Level Robotics - Humanoide Robotik als Schlüsseltechnologie von Morgen brings together top minds from academia, industry, and policy to explore the opportunities and challenges driving this fast-paced field.
The program will highlight technological progress in actuation, sensing, and artificial intelligence, while also addressing questions of ethics, safety, and social responsibility. We are especially pleased that several of our MIRMI Principal Investigators will take an active role in the event:
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alin Albu-Schäffer will open the event with a keynote on global developments in humanoid robotics and participate in multiple panel discussions.
- Prof. Dr. Angela Schoellig will speak about the role of AI in robotics and join the panel discussion Building Bridges – What Industry Needs and Research Provides.
- Prof. Dr. Berthold Bäuml: will speak in Intelligent Hands?! about how AI is revolutionizing the sense of touch in humanoid robots.
