From 08. to 12.07.19 the MSRM gave students of the MINT-Academy the possibility to solve complex problems with the help of robot arms. The one-week event took place at the Schülerforschungszentrum in Berchtesgaden and gave students from the surrounding area, including Austria, the opportunity to deal with various scientific and engineering fields, such as genetics, biology, chemistry, physics, geology, mathematics, robotics or computer science.
The two groups of students in the robotics area each had the task of producing lemonade and guacamole semi-automatically. The task included the structuring and division of the tasks between man and robot as well as the programming of the robot arm and the design and manufacture (3D printing) of the gripper fingers as well as necessary auxiliary structures.
