VEMO robot: revolutionizing early mobilization therapy in the intensive care unit

The Very Early MObilization robot (VEMO) is a robotic solution that brings early mobilization therapy to the intensive care unit (ICU). The researchers developed new algorithms to make this existing verticalizable care and rehabilitation bed auto-adaptive. Even untrained staff can operate the VEMO robot in an intuitive way thanks to the results of the MobIPaR project.
