PARTI is needed to control the GARMI assistance robot

PARTI is a multimodal teleoperation center for controlling the assistant robot GARMI via any kind of internet connection. We deal with two main scenarios in which it is necessary to take control of GARMI, which is otherwise supposed to work autonomously most of the time.
Carrying out simple examinations remotely
The idea behind the remote-controlled GARMI is primarily to enable doctors and therapists to carry out virtual visits to their patients, including basic examinations. This should save time by avoiding trips to patients' homes and an emergency call can be evaluated immediately without having to send first aiders unnecessarily. In addition, elderly people who live in places without medical care can consult a doctor for examinations on their own initiative without having to travel long distances, for which they may be dependent on outside help.
