Intuitive robot-assisted early mobilization for intensive care patients
The aim of the MobIPar project was to offer even untrained medical staff intuitive operation of the VEMO robot. Among other things, the VEMO robot enables early mobilization of intensive care patients by raising the nursing and rehabilitation bed into a vertical position. In the project, scientists developed new algorithms that ensure auto-adaptive operation of the bed. The project ran for a total of 5 years from April 2016 to March 2021.
