Geriatronics Summit Summer School 2025
Following the success of the first three Geriatronics Summits, the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) at the Technical University of Munich—together with its cooperation partners ENSTA Paris, Caritas, the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Munich (KSH Munich), the Deutsches Museum, and MathWorks, has invited participants to attend the Geriatronics Summit Summer School from July 7 to 10, 2025, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
The 2025 Summer School brought together researchers from the fields of robotics and AI, as well as care experts, to promote collaboration and address urgent challenges in elderly care. The first school placed a strong emphasis on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical engagement to foster meaningful interdisciplinary interactions.
The program offered practical guidance on care, insights into key topics, and thematic breakout sessions to address critical issues. With a select group of participants, the summer school enabled effective research collaborations to be initiated, innovative project ideas to be stimulated, and solutions to be developed that improve the autonomy, dignity, and quality of life of older people.
As soon as the date for the Geriatronics Summit Summer School in 2027 has been set, we will publish it here and also send an email to former participants.
