TUM MIRMI and MIT CSAIL are entering a new phase of their international research partnership. Supported by €1.6 million from the Bavarian Ministry of Science, the initiative connects researchers from Munich and Cambridge to accelerate innovation in robotics and artificial intelligence.

In a workshop together with MIT CSAIL, researchers from TUM and DLR will present their latest developments.

The first joint teams will explore how robots can respond more reliably to unfamiliar surroundings and how digital design, AI and robotic production can enable more sustainable construction and manufacturing. Extended research stays at both institutions will give participating scientists the opportunity to develop and evaluate their approaches within the partner’s research environment.
