Robot “Jack” Safely Navigates Through Crowds
NEWS, TUM Press Release |
The robot adapts its movements ten times per second by analysing and optimizing the behaviour of people in its environment. The system continuously learns from people's movement patterns and becomes more and more human-like in its decision-making. In practice, this technology could be used not only in delivery robots, but also in autonomous vehicles or wheelchairs to ensure reliable and safe navigation.
