The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Cyborg and Bionic Systems (CBS 2026) brings together leading researchers, engineers, clinicians, and industry innovators to discuss the latest advances in cyborg and bionic technologies. The conference covers a broad range of topics, including surgical robotics, neurotechnology, wearable systems, rehabilitation engineering, artificial intelligence, and human–robot interaction. The program features internationally renowned plenary speakers—Levi Hargrove, Kyujin Cho, Barbara Mazzolai, Allison Okamura, Brad Nelson, and Dongheui Lee—as well as interactive Vision Talks led by Robert Riener and Christian Cipriani, alongside technical sessions and networking events. CBS 2026 provides a unique forum for interdisciplinary exchange and the translation of cutting-edge research into real-world applications. Our PI, TUM MIRMI Prof. Cristina Piazza, serves as General Chair.
