The TUM Industry Engagement Program (TUM IEP) in the Focus Area "Intelligent Robotics" is a TUM-wide program for companies of all sizes interested in close ties with the Machine Intelligence Community at TUM. The TUM IEP "Intelligent Robotics" provides companies with exclusive technology previews and insights in the field. Furthermore, it brings companies together with the most excellent researchers in the field of Machine Intelligence at TUM. The TUM IEP "Intelligent Robotics" offers are designed to facilitate dialogue and interaction between TUM and interested industry partners. Members in the TUM IEP "Intelligent Robotics" have a specialized Industry Engagement Officer at their side who is their exclusive gatekeeper for interactions with TUM.

The TUM IEP "Intelligent Robotics" offers a variety of moderated formats, from on-site demo tours to newsletters to webinars, where industry and academia can connect and develop the basis for future collaborations.

One of the annual highlights in the TUM IEP "Intelligent Robotics" is the "Industry Day". This is an inspiring meeting of the brightest minds in robotics and machine intelligence from TUM & Friends. The "Industry Day" is the platform to intensify the contacts between the industry partners and the excellent scientists and young talents of MIRMI as well as the startups and spinoffs of TUM.
